21 Dec The opening of new highways and airports brings more advantages for investors in Dong Mai Industrial Park in 2018
Expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2018, Ha Long – Hai Phong highway will shorten the distance from Dong Mai to Hai Phong port. More specifically, the distance will be reduced to 25km instead of 70km as before, and travel time will be only 25 minutes.
In addition, the connection of Ha Long – Hai Phong highway to Hanoi – Hai Phong highway facilitates traveling from the IP to Hanoi – the political, cultural and economic hub of the nation. With a design speed of 100 km/h, the completed route will shorten the travel distance from Ha Long to Hanoi by approximately 60 km and travel time will be reduced to about 90 minutes.
Expected to come into operation by the second and third quarter of 2018, Ha Long – Hai Phong highway and Van Don airport will save time and travel costs to seaports and airports.
Moreover, Van Don airport will come online in the second quarter of 2018. The initial design capacity of the airport is 2 million passengers a year, projected to increase to 5 million passengers/year by 2030.
Especially, Ha Long – Van Don highway will also come into operation during this time, thereby optimizing time and travel distance from Dong Mai to Van Dong international airport, removing the need to move from Cat Bi or Noi Bai airports as before.
Accordingly, thanks to a series of new traffic works, enterprises investing in Dong Mai IP will be able to save fuel cost, time and effort.
Adjacent to national road 18 and located near two large seaports in Northern Vietnam, namely Cai Lan port and Hai Phong Port, Dong Mai IP is the first choice for enterprises, especially import/export businesses by sea.
