06 Aug Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien chairman of the provincial peopple’s committee received a delegation of Toyoda Gosei Group

Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the party central committee, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee, chairman of the provincial peopple’s committee received a delegation of Toyoda Gosei (Japan) headed by Mr. Kato.


Mr. Pham Van Ca, Standing Committee Member of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien informed Mr. Kato about the results of the working visit to Japan by Thai Binh delegation recently.

The Chairman highly appreciated Toyoda Gosei Group for selecting Tien Hai industrial zone to invest to build factory for the production of safety components such as airbags and steering wheel in cars.

He said Tien Hai industrial park would be of economic and political significance, with its location in the center of the northern provinces, lying on the coastal economic development corridor, being convenient for road traffic, near the coastal road which is about to connect six northern coastal provinces.

He promised Thai Binh would create favorable conditions for Toyoda Gosei Group as and when it deploys the investment to build factory and puts it into operation.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Kato thanked for the warm hospitality that leaders of Thai Binh province gave to them. He introduced to the Chairman about the formation and development of Toyoda Gosei Group. Currently, Toyoda Gosei is the world’s leading manufacturer of auto parts, supplying to Toyota, with a network of nearly 70 factories and representative offices in 18 countries and territories.

Recently, Toyoda Gosei Group has signed a land lease contract with an area of ​​11.3 hectares in Tien Hai Industrial Park invested by Viglacera Corporation. Mr. Kato expressed his hope that Toyoda Gosei would continue to receive the attention and help from Thai Binh province so that the plant would soon be built and put into operation.
